Take a family holiday has always been a favorite pastime for many families in America. Most times, these holidays are taken during school breaks and during the summer, winter holidays and spring. Not all sites are suitable for children and this can spoil a vacation faster than anything else. This article will take a couple of suggestions about places that are fun for families to visit in two different states, Florida and Colorado. If you are interested in warm weather, beach and the sun to the head of Florida has great places for families including fun seagull lighting in some of the hotels. If you want to go skiing during the winter holidays and stay in a cozy cabin complete with lighting elk horns from head to Colorado with the children.

This paper will select two areas of Florida without including the great family destination of Orlando. The first ad is called Sarasota, Florida, and is located near Sarasota, Florida. This is a family oriented key little place with condos, homes and hotel rooms and apartments. If you're a family who loves tennis, stay at Cologne station with the largest tennis facility in the country and is right on the white sand beach. A fun activity to do there with kids, is to visit the Mote Aquarium who rescues injured and sick marine animals and nurses back to health. It is a destination for family fun without the crowds and is educational.

The coastal town of Florida is second in Seaside, Florida which is located in the Florida Panhandle in the northern Gulf of Mexico. A lot of people in the South and Midwest enjoy this area because they can lead their facility. Seaside is completed with some condominiums, but mostly has cute little beach cottages for rent. The main form of transportation is the bike and is a great way to spend time with family. Seaside has some shops and restaurants and an outdoor amphitheater where free concerts are a week where families have a picnic while listening to music.

For families that love skiing and snowboarding, there's no better place to go to Colorado. If you have small children or beginners, try the smallest and not well known mountain Sol Vista. It is a small mountain of friendship that is less intimidating and about a third the price of tickets and lessons. There are great rental properties in this mountain are a bargain compared to big resorts in the area.

If you go to Colorado in the summer is a great location to head to Vail and Beavercreek. Rental properties are cheaper in the summer and there are many child friendly activities in the mountains, like miniature golf, horseback riding, alpine slides and mountain biking. Beavercreek has an ice skating outdoors that is open all year, and an interactive children's museum as well.
